As PAS 2023 program planning begins, the PAS Program Committee Leadership Team would like to invite ourcommunity to submit ideas for PAS 2023 Lab pilots by June 30, 2022. After review, PAS will make lab selections by August 31, 2022.
WHAT IS A PAS LAB?
Labs are pilot tests of innovations new to the PAS Meeting. Labs help us test ways to better meet the needs of PAS attendees. Successful Labs become a permanent part of the PAS Meeting. Past PAS Labs have included:
New Session Formats - Pro/Con Debates, 90-minute Sessions, Panel Discussions
Unopposed Networking Breaks Organized by Specialty
Opportunities for Trainees - Trainees on the Terrace, Trainee Zone
PAS 2022 attendee and Program Committee feedback have helped PAS to develop Labs that meet specific needs and align with the PAS Strategic Plan and goals. The PAS Program Committee Leadership Team reviews submissions and selected Labs are recommended to the PAS Board of Directors for final approval. Evaluation criteria include feasibility for the PAS 2023 host city, Washington D.C.; meeting space, program schedule, and budget.
Now, for PAS 2023, all members of the PAS Community are invited to submit PAS Lab proposals.

Describe your PAS Lab including the attendee need to be addressed, how the Lab will advance the PAS Strategic Plan goal(s), and proposed success metrics (250 words max)
